So many, many years
Everything’s like before:
Neither cash nor girls appear,
I can’t have them any more.
No matter how I used to steal
I tried day after day.
I should have saved a great deal
But I drank it all away.
I have no roof and no walls
Nor the skin I had before
And I haven’t any friends at all,
I can’t have them any more.
I’ve vodka for only three
And my hearts just with spades will go
My pancakes: they’re all lumpy
And not just the first1 - I know!
